Testimonies
Testimonials are typically given by recovered addicts who owe their recovery to their association with Jesus. Although Addicted...To Hope has been instrumental in helping, it is not the answer. The answer is Him.
We believe you can quit drinking, or quit drugging without Him, but without Him you can't find peace and joy and righteousness.
We believe your addiction is like 5% of your life, but is screwing up the other 95%. He's the answer to the other 95% of your life; He can not only completely heal your addiction, but also your family, and your job, and your relationship with God, giving 100% of your life purpose and harmony. And, He offers eternal life besides.
These testimonies will testify to this. There's a truly good incident in the Bible that I think addresses this. A man was healed and the religious leaders did not believe it. So they asked his parents. His parents said this, "He is of age; ask him. He will speak for himself."
Ask them! They will speak for themselves. You know the drill, though. Please respect their personal confidence. They've not exposed themselves for public ridicule or to be taken advantage of. God have mercy on you if you do so. Nor have they done this in order to become heros. They've agreed to share themselves in order for you to know the Truth. They know that the Truth will set you free.
